On Saturday, May 26 Family Karate will be celebrating our 7th anniversary. We will have a cookout in the first pavilion. Family Karate provides burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and some beverages. We ask families to bring beverage, appetizers, salads, and desserts. There will be door prizes and games as well. This event will be held rain or shine. All classes are cancelled for Saturday.

Fitness Kickboxing!

Our popular fitness Kickboxing class will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning April 17. Sensei Mike Nielsen will be teaching the class. His background in physical fitness and therapy as well as martial arts will make the classes challenging & energizing, Fitness kickboxing is one class in our Adult Fitness Program along with Tai Chi, Yoga, and Zumba. On Saturday, April 28 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sensei Brandon Fisher will be teaching the effective use of kanzetsu waza and nage waza. This class is primarily for advanced students and black belts, but the serious intermediate student will gain insight as well. The cost is only $35/person. This seminar is open to any martial artist.
