XTREME SPORTS AND FITNESS JOINS FAMILY KARATE MENTOR, OHIO, February 20, 2008: Family Karate, voted best martial arts school in Northeast Ohio by the viewers of Fox 8 Cleveland, is adding Olympic-Style Tae Kwon Do to its programs with the addition of the students and staff of Mentor’s Xtreme Sports and Fitness into its family of students and instructors. Xtreme Sports and Fitness Chief Instructor Matt Casciato said “we are delighted to find a home for our students and staff where we can continue our students’ training in a supportive family atmosphere.” Mr. Casciato, a 4th Degree Black Belt in Olympic Tae Kwon Do and a National trainer and coach, will join the Family Karate staff and continue to train students in Olympic-Style Tae Kwon Do at Family Karate. Xtreme Sports and Fitness kickboxing instructor Bob Milicevic will also join the staff and teach Family Karate’s morning kickboxing classes. Family Karate owner Libby Hill said “the teaching style and values of Xtreme Sports and Fitness match ours very well. Both schools have created a family atmosphere with disciplined fun. The addition of Olympic-Style Tae Kwon Do enhances our martial arts offerings, which already include traditional Kajukenpo Karate, Yoga, Tai Chi and Cardio-Kickboxing. We welcome the Xtreme Sports family into our family." Family Karate was founded in 2005 by Libby and Tom Hill, and offers martial arts and fitness programs to families and individuals of all ages.
